Portraits of Overside: Warriors
From Rice Boy Wiki
Portraits of Overside: Warriors is a book of art, featuring eleven images of various warriors, soldiers, and mercenaries of Overside. The book was finished in mid-March 2010 and released in April 2010.[1][2]
A preliminary back cover was released in February 2010[3] including an "index" comprised of nine of the eleven illustrations, which was then updated to include the remaining two titles ("The Reach of the Torch" and "The Tusks Fall") on 18 March[4]. The title of each piece is given, with a marker indicating its location on Overside.
The pieces in Warriors are arranged in chronological order, as follows (exact dates for each can be found in Overside Calendar):
- "An Offering to Rog" (Grey Castle)
- "The Tusks Fall" (Wusterhart)
- "War-Man on the Seam" (western Grenth)
- "Shade-kin Soldiers" (Shadow Monument)
- "The Treaty of Tenshells" (Tenshells)
- "Terassir Patrollers" (Terassir)
- "Artika of Imfort" (Imfort)
- "The Reach of the Torch" (southern Hornspine)
- "Walls of Tulim-Kazoot" (Tulim-Kazoot)
- "Warden of Surya" (Surya)
- "Gorrkan Bog-Squad" (Gorrk)
Of these eleven pieces, five had been seen before the publishing of Warriors. "An Offering to Rog" and "The Treaty of Tenshells" were featured on Dahm's Ustream broadcast in late 2009 and early 2010, "Walls of Tulim-Kazoot" was shown on his Assetbar in October 2009 (as well as on his Deviantart), and "Artika of Imfort" is currently available as a desktop background, for a donation of any size. A small portion of "The Tusks Fall" was revealed on 15 March,[5] showing a warrior of Taragi.
