Chasmus (pronounced /kæzmʌs/[1]) is a large, vicious creature who is one of the antagonists of Order of Tales. He is the Torchlord's second-in-command, and is in charge of the Shadow Monument.[2] He is addicted to the Black Drink, which he constantly swigs from a large bottle. He briefly imprisons Koark in a tower at the Shadow Monument, and contemplates killing him by "[picking] the meat off [his] bones".[3]
Chasmus has a particular revulsion toward the Sirpah.[4]
