Dranbeasts

Dranbeasts are enormous winged reptiles that are used as pack animals and aerial transports by the Torch. Their geographic origin is unknown, but they are likely native to eastern Acirca. Although the Sirpah think that dranbeasts "fly slow, and tire quick",[1] the creatures serve as capable and effective mounts.
A dranbeast can carry up to three Blackbird riders at once. The creatures are fit with enormous bridles as well as saddles with loops of rope worn to prevent the rider from falling off.[2]
