Baron Gecrimaug is one of the villains of Rice Boy, who rules a portion of the island of Fromb in the Circle Sea. While he only appears in Chapter 25, he plays the important role of brokering a deal between Spatch II and Brain Child, trading filarmium ore from Sunk for the use of Dimmons in the Fulfiller's War. Gecrimaug cares little about actually aiding Spatch II, as he finds the Frog-Man to be easily duped out of his fortunes.<ref>http://www.rice-boy.com/see/index.php?c=227</ref>

The Baron is also notable for the strange hat he wears, which is actually a large glass jar filled with Trills. Inside, the Trills grow and process small red fruits into a liquid.<ref>http://www.rice-boy.com/see/index.php?c=220</ref> This liquid is likely related to the fruit bore by a Tree of Thought. Baron Gecrimaug wears this hat as a symbol of his opulent wealth, since he knows the Trills are nearly extinct and very hard to come by.
