The Grand Vizier is a small egg-shaped person who holds high station in the kingdom of Satuar. He is a kind-hearted and level-headed foil to Prince Yureg, his traveling companion. He is often seen schlepping a large backpack. The Vizier happens to notice Rice Boy in the stomach of a dead serpent, who was slain by the Prince after trying to eat his head.
The Vizier helps cover for Rice Boy when he escapes Yureg's custody to continue into Skortch. Rice Boy says he hopes to see the Vizier again, but it is unknown whether the two ever reunite after Rice Boy.
