Files

How to upload an image and add it to a page:

 1. Click the "Upload file" link in the sidebar.
 2. Click the "Choose file" button to pick the file you want to upload.
 3. Change the filename (if it should be different-- make sure there aren't any weird characters like &) and add a description/category
 4. Click "Upload file" and you'll be presented with the new file! If you can't find it, check the Gallery of new files.
 5. Use one of the following formats to add the image to the page:
How to write What it looks like What it does
or File:Trill12.png Simply display the image, with a link to the image's page.

A tiny Trill
Displays the image as a thumbnail, limited to 50 pixels in width, aligned to the right side of the page, with the caption "A tiny Trill". Most images are kept to around 200px.

Trill Farmer
Image:Trillfarmer.png
The Trill farmer talks to Rice Boy
Displays the image as part of the character infobox template. There are other options (such as "first" for first appearance and "comic" for the comics the character is in) that are available for this template.
<gallery perrow=2>

File:Trill5.png
File:Trill7.png
File:Trill20.png
</gallery>

Creates a gallery of images. The number of images per row can be controlled by the "perrow" variable, which can be left out if you want to let the computer figure it out.

(this page is incomplete because I only recently realized it doesn't have anything here)
