Princess Impera Spadewielder is King Pronomb's daughter and a member of the Hornèd royal family. At first, she is very xenophobic, and distrusts any non-Hornèd outsiders, which earns her a reprimand from her wiser father. Nonetheless, she pursues Koark and Bottle Woman down the Track to Imfort, "joining" their traveling party to Koark's chagrin. She further annoys Koark when she interrupts his explanation of Kom's Wood to deliver it herself.
Once at Imfort, Impera seemingly assures her fellow Hornèds that Koark and Bottle Woman can be trusted. After the two go to meet Captain Artika, however, she confesses that neither her nor her father really know who they are. She is later present during Imfort's negotiations with Æthirus, and forces Artika to allow Koark to pursue Bottle Woman, judging the Shade-kin to be a greater threat. As Koark departs, she promises that she will tell King Pronomb what occurred at Imfort.
