Morrian's party

Morrian's party is the expedition of Sahtan soldiers led by Morrian Carparia to take control over the land possessed by the white-marked tribe. They are one of at least five other such parties,^[1] presumably all under the direction of Overseer Calirus. To carry their supplies, they use two pack-beasts of unknown origin. When they are encamped, the company occupies three large red tents.^[2]

There are fourteen members of the group:

• Messenger Morrian Carparia, leader of the party
  • Vattu, Morrian's captive
• Torrant, Warden of the Grenth Guard, effectively second in command
  • The War-Man, a slave under Torrant's control
• Carran Tanarria
• Tallano Carmarus
• Oralus Carat
• Seven unnamed Sahtan soldiers
  • One soldier's last name may be Tamanus given the name on their map.^[3]
