Parod is a secretive scholar that lives in the Red Mountains near Skortch. He sometimes disguises himself and visits Backtown. He is the eighty-fifth Heir of Ridrom, a group that has guarded the secrets of Ridrom's Prophecy since the Blue Age. Because of this, he also is master of the Bleach Beast. Parod is training Infin to become the next Heir.
In his Deeper Room, an inner chamber within his home, Parod has piles of books that include secrets of The Plague, Ridrom and the Trills. He even has a bottle of Trills, which he hides Rice Boy in when Frog-Men appear looking for him.
