Sahta

Sahta is a city in the northern Esterteng located at the fork of the River Tarria and River Asria, and which is the seat of the Sahta Empire. First seen on p200 of Book 2 of Vattu, Sahta appears to be a large and bustling city surrounded by stone walls and a moat. There is the impression so far that non-Sahtans occupy a lower rung of the social hierarchy, with Fluters shown as either beggars or servants, and unknown lizard-like street people appearing briefly on p201.
