Shade-Kin (or colloquially Shadows[1][2]) are a species of four-eyed, horned, black-furred humanoids from east Acirca. Their homeland is the Shadow Monument, a city inside a large impact crater.
Since Shade-kin do not have any written culture,[3] they were perfect recruits for the armies of the Torch. Rog Torchlord promised them "riches", and made many Shade-kin the commanders of his forces.[4]
