Sunk River

The Sunk River is one of the main waterways of western Acirca, since it traces a route from the Black Teeth in the north (where it originates) all the way to its namesake, Sunk. The river flows through much of the western half of the Mountain Ring, traveling by Imfort and Stonepalm. At the latter, the Sunk heads east, while its tributary the Fueg River travels west. As the Sunk River continues southward, it goes between Whetton and Lonely Land in a deep gorge.

The Sunk River notably travels past the home of Rice Boy, who first departs by boating down that river. It is in this boat that Rice Boy first meets Gerund.
