The Tusks of Wusterim is a short story by Evan Dahm that was published in May 2010. The story is set in Wusterim's early history and shows, in four parts, the construction and fate of the Border-Tusks, which were built by the Old Empire of Wusterim, Taragi.

Structure
The story is split into four sections, which are each four pages. While no definite timeline is established, each jump between sections is a progression in time throughout the lifetime of the Taragi Border-Tusks. The first three parts are definitely in the Green Age, since western Taragi fell in the early or middle Green Age. Also, since the events must occur within the lifetime of Viceroy Gurati, they cannot be too temporally distant.
While it is not clear, the fourth part may occur in either the Green or Blue Age. Taragi fell completely by the end of the Green Age, so it is plausible that the last part occurs either contemporaneously with Taragi's fall, or some time afterwards. Since there are no external references, though, any date for the last part is speculative.
