The War-Men are a silent, belligerent people native to Grenth. An illustration in Warriors, "War-Man on the Seam", provides almost all of the information known about War-Men. The idea for this species apparently originated in a comic entitled Moghur, which Dahm decided not to pursue, according to an Assetbar post from March 2009.

In Vattu, snapshots of War-Man life and culture are shown through the flashbacks of an unnamed War-Man. He bears an axe and medallion with a symbol reminiscent of the symbol used to represent Moghur, indicating that Dahm possibly recycled the symbol or incorporated the story idea into Vattu.
